Meet the Doctors

Dr. Joseph M. Homoky, DMD

Dr. Joseph Homoky, Diplomate of the International Dental Implant Association (IDIA).

Dr. Homoky, originally from Highland, Illinois, has made his home in Port Charlotte.

Dr. Homoky has taught at the Edison College Hygiene School in Florida and continues to train dental assisting students from Charlotte County Dental Assisting School providing clinical rotations at his office. Dr. Homoky is a dental implant instructor and mentor for Implant Seminars, the largest dental implant surgery training center in the country.

In his spare time, Dr. Homoky enjoys spending time with his family and raising his son. He loves being around the ocean, fishing, scuba diving, as well as running marathons and competing in triathlons.

Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in Medical Biology and Chemistry, Southern Illinois University
Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine
Provides the Latest in Technology and Medicine by Completing 450+ Hours of Dental Implant Continuing Education between 2010 and 2012.

Member of the International Dental Implant Association & holds all 3 levels- Mastership, Diplomate, & Fellowship
Certified with Institute for Laser Dentistry, and with the HOYA ConBio College of Clinical Laser Dentistry
Certified in Oral Sedation
Certified with The World Academy of Radiosurgery
Certified with Implant Seminars on Implant Placement and Bone Management
Completed Advanced Education in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry with The Hornbrook Group, with emphasis in Functional Anterior Aesthetics and also in Occlusion
Community Involvement:
Travels to the Dominican Republic multiple times a year, usually for a four day weekend where he’ll work early mornings through to late nights donating dental services to the needy, specializing in dental implants and jaw reconstruction in preparation for dental implant placement. He mentors doctors from around the world; teaching them to perform these advanced procedures.
Taught at Edison College Hygiene school, and he also trains dental assisting students from Charlotte County Vo-Tech by providing clinical rotations at the office multiple times a year.
Participates in the MDA Lock-up, which is a charity for muscular dystrophy where a Charlotte County Police Officer comes and takes Dr. Joe to “jail” and Dr. has to “raise bail”. All the money goes to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Volunteers for “Give Kids a Smile”, which is a non-profit organization that he participates in by providing free dentistry to underserved local children.

Dr. Gregory Grabowski, DMD, MMS

Dr. Grabowski was born and raised in Farmington, CT. He did his undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut and got his Master of Medical Science from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Lake Erie School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL. He is comfortable in all aspects of general dentistry.

Community Involvement:
Volunteers for a rural health clinic where dentistry is provided free of charge to in-need rural communities
Provides dental education presentations to elementary schools in the Bradenton area
Volunteers at health fairs to provide dental education to the elderly.
Dr. Grabowski enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as traveling, being outdoors, and exercising.
